CO2 emisions since the Industrial Revolution

In the 19th Century, photography made it possible to freeze time. Eadweard Muybridge took photographs of horses, bison, athletes and so on, with the aim of finding out more information about how they moved.  Was there a point, for example, when a horse was running, that all of its feet were off the ground? By putting the images in sequence, he was able to answer questions such as these.
