Introduction # 1

Feminism did not take speed until the mid 19th century, when the first women’s conference was held in Seneca Falls, America, in 1848. Women in the 18th century were extremely less emancipated compared to the 20th century. This started the feminist movement, and was the start of women’s emancipation. Though women have always fought for their rights, many of them were not legally recognized until in 20th century.
